Create a workspace
Signing up is self-serve. Go to app.getcamper.io/signup. In about a minute you are the owner of a workspace. Nobody converts your request by hand, and there is no card to enter for the trial.
Prerequisites
- A work email on a company domain (not Gmail, Outlook.com, iCloud, or temporary inboxes)
- Ability to receive a one-time code at that address

The three steps
- Work email. Enter the address you use at work. We send a 6-digit code — there is no password to invent on day one. You can add a password, passkey, or authenticator later under Account security.
- Verify. Enter the code. That code proves the address is yours and creates your account.
- Name the workspace. We suggest a name and a workspace ID from your email domain; type over either. The workspace ID appears in SSO callback URLs and cannot be changed afterwards — pick something you would recognise in a config file.

Why a work email is required
Camper manages an organisation’s directory, so a workspace belongs to a company domain rather than to a person. Signup rejects consumer mailboxes and temporary inbox services. If your company mail runs on Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 under your own domain — for example you@yourcompany.com — that is a work address and it will be accepted.
Verifying the code proves you can read the inbox. It does not prove you control the domain. Domain control is claimed later, only when you need it, via DNS TXT for Enterprise SSO.
If your company is already on Camper
If your email domain already has a workspace with SSO registered, signup will say so and send you to sign in instead of starting a second workspace. Ask an owner there to elevate you (SCIM Admin, or an invite while bootstrap invites are still available) if you do not have access yet. See Roles.
What the trial covers
The trial is the full product for 21 days, with no card:

The trial is shaped to prove Camper is right about your org rather than to do all the work: convergence is capped at the credit allowance. Onboarding import consumes credits during a trial (it is free once you are on a plan). When credits run out or the 21 days end, writes pause — dry run, reconcile, SCIM, and audit keep working, so you are never locked out of diagnosing anything.

Adding a plan
Add a payment method under Settings → Billing whenever you are ready; you do not have to wait for the trial to end. See Billing.
More than one workspace
The same account can own or join up to three workspaces — useful for a sandbox alongside production. Switch between them from the workspace menu in the top bar.
