Pricing & usage
Camper is one plan. Every feature is included — connectors, SCIM, SSO, dry runs, pins, policies, and audit. There are no operator seats, no connector surcharges, and no feature tiers.
What changes with size is the platform fee, set by how many people your IdP syncs to Camper, plus action credits if you write more in a month than your allowance covers.

That page is the published rate card. This article covers what you need while operating Camper: what gets counted, and where to see it.

What counts as an action
An action is a successful write to a connected system. One credit is consumed when a provisioning task succeeds and actually changes the target.
Billable
- Add or remove a member on a managed resource
- Update a member role
- Create, rename, archive, unarchive, or delete a managed resource

If a provider rate-limits or a transient error occurs, Camper retries the same task. Only the first successful settle consumes a credit — retries do not stack.
Which identities count
Your band comes from active identities synced from your IdP, sampled once a day and taken at the 95th percentile across the period — so one bad sync or a bulk import never moves it by itself.
Not counted: deactivated and suspended people, service accounts, groups, and Camper’s own operator seats as a separate fee.
Crossing a band ceiling by 3% or less does not move you. A band change applies from your next billing period — never retroactively.
Included credits
Included action credits scale with your band (one credit per managed identity per month on the published card). Overage is billed per successful write past the allowance — see the public pricing page for the per-action rate.
Trial
The full product for 21 days, no card. Dry runs are unlimited; writes to connected systems are capped at 250 action credits. During a trial that cap includes onboarding import (import is free once you are on a plan).
At the cap or at expiry, writes pause and nothing else does — dry runs, reconcile, SCIM, and audit keep working. Nothing already written is undone. Adding a plan resumes where the trial stopped.
Directories larger than 2,600 people get a guided evaluation rather than a self-serve trial. Same product, same published rates.
